Mushroom Chowder Mix - Quick Cooking!
A delicious chowder loaded with mushrooms. It comes with a vegetable blend, pasta, rice and tasty seasonings. So easy and delicious! Makes approximately 6 (1 cup) servings.

What you will need:
- 4 1/2 cups water
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 cup Sherry
- 2 cups Half & Half (or Cream for even richer flavor)
Preparation:
- Add entire contents of the package to 4 1/2 cups boiling water. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, melt butter over low heat or in a microwave. Stir in flour until blended. Set aside.
- After 20 minutes, add half & half, sherry and flour/butter mixture to the soup pot.
- Stir, cover and simmer on low heat (Do Not Boil) an additional 15 minutes to thicken, stirring occasionally. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional).
Ingredients: Enriched long grain white rice, enriched macaroni product, freeze dried US grade #1 mushrooms, dehydrated vegetables (onion, red bell pepper, carrot, celery), salt, sugar, hydrolyzed soy protein, garlic, parsley, spices, oleoresin turmeric, spice extractives,(silicon dioxide added to prevent caking). Allergens: Contains wheat and soy.

I have always loved this soup. It taste so good that I had leftovers for breakfast. Unless you hate mushrooms you can't help loving the taste.

It’s delicious. We add hamburger meat and more mushrooms. Soooo good!

Mushroom chowder
I love this! Easy and tasty. Suggestion: saute a cup or so of fresh mushrooms (I use baby bellas) and add towards the end. This makes an even richer soup.

This makes the best mushroom soup I have ever had. I did add some fresh sautéed mushrooms. Excellent flavor and quick and easy to make.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!!! I always add a bit more butter and sherry. Not too much sherry otherwise you'll have to overcook to cook off the alcohol. This is one of my most favorites and I take it to potlucks and it gets eaten up!

Great chowder!
We started getting this mix in TX from Central Market and when we moved to CO we started ordering directly. We love this chowder. We add sliced mushrooms when we add the mix to the boiling water and it turns out perfect!

Mushroom Chowder
I add sautéed baby Bella mushrooms, onions, and ground beef. It makes a great hardy meal. These are very good quality soups.
